Listen to our Co-Chair, Baroness Worthington, talk about how to make climate policy crisis-proof as the first guest on Bloomberg Green’s new podcast Zero.

Baroness Worthington was the lead author in the team that drafted the Climate Change Act of 2008, a historic piece of legislation that binds the country to reaching net-zero emissions by 2050 and provides the framework to keep the government on track to deliver this.

The podcast explores the importance of crisis-proof climate laws, why the UK’s climate targets continue to have huge public and parliamentary support, and how the UK is well placed to go faster in delivering net zero and benefit economically from doing so.

“The UK’s contribution in responding to the climate crisis will be measured not just in the quantity of emissions we reduce, but in the quality of the vision, innovation and leadership we provide."
